Pink Room Review

Due to some circumstances here at the shop we haven't been blogging steadily. Hopefully those issues are behind us.
So how is everyone's summer going? Hot enough for you? Well come on down and enjoy our cool air. Shop for that upcoming birthday or other gift giving event in your life.
Thought we would share our "pink" room. You've probably noticed that most of our rooms have some kind of theme whether it's the items in the room or color. Here's current pictures of what's in this room.

Spring Vintage Market

Don't forget our Spring Vintage Market this weekend, Saturday, March 27 from 9-4. We will have multiple vendors on hand and several of the H street shops are doing things too. Should be an awesome day once again. Country Rose Tea Room is hosting a Garden Tea Party also. Call them for more details.

Spring is in the Air

We've been very busy working on the front yard here at Into the Forest. We've made some awesome changes. Be sure to check out all the ideas before you come into the shop.

We've also rearranged the shop for spring and brought out all the spring goodies for our customers. Be sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, March 27th for our spring Vintage Market. It'll be from 9 to 4.

Vintage Market Pictures at Last

Yes, that is a very early morning sun beginning to rise. The day started very early for us and our vendors. Mostly we got set up pictures then the day got really busy and of course picture taking went by the wayside. Sorry folks. Next time you'll have to be there in person.

This booth was just lovely and the vendor was just as special.

Here's Rosie. She's wonderful too. We just love all our vendors who join us on our market days.

This lovely booth is owned by one of our regular vendors in the shop. She's a sweet, generous lady and we adore her.
She had lovely stuff and it was gorgeously displayed. She did a wonderful job.

These lovely ladies had an awesome display and we do believe they sold almost everything. Their fall stuff was spectacular.

We know it's hard to believe that with the temperatures we're having but they are. New merchandise for this year's festivities are arriving daily. So be sure to check here and at the shop often. Christmas in July at Into the Forest

We felt that our Christmas in July event went very well. Thank you to all our loyal customers and the new ones who discovered our shop just that day. The weather cooperated and was not too hot at least for Bakersfield. LOL. Forunately we have a big shade tree in the front yard and that helps with the heat. If you missed this event our next event is October 3rd. That will be our vintage open air market. Be sure to check back for more details.

Open Air Market - March 28

We're having an open air market on March 28th. We're looking for vendors. You can phone the shop if you would like more information. If you don't want to be a vendor, come on out and shop that day. It'll be lots of fun!
We've got lots of new inventory at the shop and we've moved a lot of things around. Come on down and see what we've got new!

A Fresh Start

Okay a new year with new beginnings. Including a brand new computer. Now let's see what we can do! We are back to regular hours. We're "renewing" the shop which means moving things around and putting away all the Christmas/holiday stuff. Come by soon and see all the changes and new things we have for you.

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend. That everyone got to spend lots of time with family and friends, eat too many goodies and shopped til you dropped on Friday. We wanted to let everyone know our holiday hours at the shop.

Happy and safe shopping during the Christmas season. We have lots of goodies for gifts and decorating at the shop. We've got gift basket ideas or custom gift baskets to order for family and friends. Last Saturday's Open Air Market

Last Saturday's Open Air Market was a success. We had a great time and got to meet a lot of new people. We appreciate everyone who came out to browse and shop. We want to thank all the other H street shops and vendors for participating. We were worried that weather early in the morning would be a deterrent but it cleared up and was just beautiful. Here are some pictures of that very fun day. Check back because we'll be announcing our spring open air market sometime after the holidays.

We will be open Friday after Thanksgiving. Hope to see everyone after they've hit those early bird specials. Happy Thanksgiving!

We hope to have a small scale "open market" type of affair on November 15th. If you are interested in being a vendor please contact us. Better yet, come on out and shop during what we hope becomes an annual affair. Be seeing you there!!!
Due to some technical difficulties, it might take us a little while to get some things on the blog and also get the web site going. Computer crashes tend to do that. Getting ready for fall

It's hard to visualize fall and cooler temps when it's a 102+ outside, but Saturday was spent fall cleaning the shop and getting ready for the fall season. We have a nice selection of Halloween and Fall accessories to go in your house. You'll find the majority of these goodies in the front room. Stop by soon!
